More About Heartland SAR
Our Mission
Our Services Are FREE
Heartland Forensic Search & Recovery Team provides free services to law enforcement and families of missing persons, forensic and human remains.
We believe cost should never stand in the way of bringing someone home.
No family should have to face the search alone.
Strength Through Partnerships
Heartland partners with other Search & Rescue teams through mutual aid agreements, expanding our people, resources, and expertise when they are needed most. Because every search matters. Every life matters. Every family deserves our best.
Respecting Family Privacy
We understand that every search involves a family going through an incredibly difficult time. Protecting the privacy, dignity, and wishes of families is our priority.
Information is handled with care, compassion, and confidentiality throughout every mission.
Volunteers Coming Together for the Greater Good
Proud Partners with Soteria Disaster Response
Soteria is a Greek term meaning safety and deliverance from harm — a reflection of our mission to protect and support communities in times of crisis.
